1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website and using our IP geolocation API services, accessible from https://ip-info.app, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you disagree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our IP geolocation services. The IP geolocation technology and materials contained in this Website are protected by copyright and trademark law.

2. IP Geolocation Service

Our IP geolocation API provides real-time location data and threat intelligence for IP addresses worldwide with 99.9% accuracy. The service includes geographic location (country, region, city), ISP information, connection type, threat intelligence, and privacy detection. Results are provided for informational purposes and should not be the sole basis for critical business decisions.

3. API Usage License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our IP geolocation API for legitimate business purposes only. Under this license you may not:

  • use the API for tracking, harassment, or illegal activities;
  • attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying geolocation algorithms;
  • exceed your plan's rate limits or attempt to circumvent usage restrictions;
  • resell or redistribute API access without written permission; or
  • use the service to create a competing IP geolocation platform.

We may terminate your API access upon violations of any of these restrictions. Upon termination, you must cease all use of our IP geolocation services and delete any cached results.

4. Service Disclaimer

Our IP geolocation service is provided "as is" with 99.9% accuracy worldwide. While we strive for maximum accuracy, we make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of geolocation results. IP address assignments and network configurations can change due to routing changes, ISP reconfigurations, or network expansions. We do not guarantee that all location data will be 100% accurate due to factors like VPN usage, proxy servers, and mobile networks.

5. Limitation of Liability

DEVME LTD and its suppliers shall not be held accountable for any damages arising from the use of our IP geolocation API, including but not limited to incorrect location data, missed threat detections, or business losses resulting from geolocation results, even if we have been notified of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability for incidental damages; these limitations may not apply to you.

6. Service Updates and Changes

Our IP geolocation service may include periodic updates to improve accuracy, add new features, or enhance threat detection capabilities. We reserve the right to modify API endpoints, rate limits, or geolocation algorithms at any time with reasonable notice. We may add or remove supported features based on regulatory compliance requirements across our global coverage area.

7. Privacy and Compliance

Our IP geolocation service provides location and threat intelligence data while respecting user privacy, but we are not responsible for specific regulatory compliance requirements. Users must ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy laws when using geolocation data for their applications.

8. Terms Modifications

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. By continuing to use our IP geolocation API after changes are posted, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically for updates.

9. Privacy

Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle IP addresses and personal data during geolocation processing.

10. Governing Law

Any claim related to our IP geolocation services shall be governed by the laws of Canada without regard to conflict of law provisions. Disputes related to geolocation accuracy or threat detection shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
